Citizens Against Poverty
Feed the Hungry. CAP is engaged into the production of short term food crops on a large scale.
Citizens Against Poverty (CAP) reduces food insecurity and builds community resilience through sustainable agriculture, education, and social development.
We focus on rice, cassava, vegetables, and other short-term crops.
Our Mission and Approach
CAP works to ensure families have access to food while providing education and economic opportunities for communities. Our approach combines innovative farming, community partnerships, and educational initiatives.
Food Security: Ensure families have access to nutritious meals
Sustainable Farming: Support local farmers with training, tools, and stable income
Education
In addition to provide educational assistance to schools in Monrovia to include the Liberian Soul Clinic Mission school, Establishment of the Effort Baptist Church School, CAP next move is the establishment of a Boarding Mission School in Wacarba District in Sinoe County to provide educational opportunity to the many kids lacking school opportunities. Fight against poverty is not just putting food on the table but providing sound education thereby giving the kids the opportunities to contribute to their community in a meaningful way.
